I'm choosing this community for a couple of reasons. First off not everyone can get behind a mic. Secondly it's a radio station so it's about music. Not everyone has the same tastes and some times people can be sensitive about certain artist so things can get a little heated. On the flip side music can very help form a strong bond between people. On a final note, as a kid it used to be a dream of mine to work at a radio station, I'm looking forward to observing this community.
Kim, that sounds really cool...but who and how are you going to interview the people and observe their behavior? =)
ReplyDeleteThanks. Well....i figured i would go to the room listed as the radio stations address and see if they are available...I'm doing that tonight actually. If I have to change my community last minute because of lack of observation time or interview issues I will do so...but i really hope i don't have too. :)
ReplyDeleteI had a student spend all last semester studying the radio station. However, that is a topic that would require you to focus on a specific show or two. If you still wanted to do it, it's possible. Look at the show schedule online and email the manager. However time is of the essence here.
ReplyDeleteI understand. I just received an e mail from the manager today but because time is a factor here I'm going to continue with my new topic instead of switching back.
